Some styles ,such as N�w York, dance on the 2nd beat and are called "d�ncing on 2". 02) It can be found on Temple St. which is an unadopted road and so is not found on any map of the town. It can take a bit of finding so if you want to go there just ask for the main mosque, and it's just behind it. 03) It is the pause on the 4th and 8th beat (assuming you are "d�ncing on 1") which is not usually d�nced and often marked with a flexing of the left (or right as appropriate) and a quick tap of the foot. 04) I've no idea but he has a lovely d�nce hall named after him in Tadcaster. It is in a beautiful old building and has a polished fully sprung dance floor. One of the best around here. You can d�nce there too as there are occasonal dance events. Keep an eye out on for the next one at our events page. 05) Mambo, Basic, Opening Out, Side to Side and Cucaracha. I do hope you knew those! 06) Salsa means "spicy mix" and applies equally to a mexican dip, Salsa music or Salsa d�nce. 07) mostly Mambo, though many others have contributed different styles and moves. 08) Cuba mainly, but also Colombia, Pu�rto Rico, Dominican R�public and Haiti. Will not accept Doncaster. 09) It was a Goods Shed on the L�ndon & North Eastern Railway. No engines - sorry! 10) TitoxPuente, and it was performed by him too. 11) I suppose Cr�atia is the correct answer. But the h�tel in Bradford with a lovely circular d�nce floor, chandeliers and moulded ceiling is possibly more interesting to us. The owners actually do come from Cr�atia, hence the name. 12) It's only Day of D�nce, the biggest one day dance event in the North of England! More details on our events pages. 13) It means literally "the wheel" and is d�ncing in formation where couples d�nce in a circle and exchange partners.
